LEGAL EXPERIENCE

Commercial litigation and counseling practice with emphasis on intellectual property, including patent, trademarks, and copyright as well as employment law and Internet law.  Ms. Wertheim practices complex commercial litigation and general civil litigation in federal and state courts, including appellate practice, on matters regarding patent and trademark infringement; unfair competition, trade secret and Lanham Act claims; computer, Internet, and high technology claims, employment law disputes encompassing wrongful discharge, and Title VII, including sexual harassment, sexual discrimination, and age discrimination.  Ms. Wertheim also practices before administrative agencies and tribunals, including the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.  Ms. Wertheim provides counseling on all aspects of employer-employee relations including drafting of non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, conducting management training on sexual harassment issues, and conducting employment-related investigations.
